Aquascutum has confirmed it will join the London Fashion Week schedule in September and hold a presentation at its flagship Regent Street boutique.
“We are delighted that as one of our oldest British brands Aquascutum will be taking part in our 25 year celebrations and featuring on our inaugural presentation schedule,” Caroline Rush, joint chief executive of the British Fashion Council said.
The British heritage label has seen a focus on its financial foundations rather than its designs lately, as former ceo Kim Winser departed the label – following a failed buy-out attempt – and its Japanese owners Renown searched for an alternative buyer.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the first London Fashion Week official presentation schedule,” Aquascutum head of womenswear design, Michael Herz, said “We will be using this opportunity to be able to show the collections in an innovative and more interactive format.”
The presentation is expected to take place on September 21st.
